Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You need to have a single non-molar tooth removed (not a molar)
  • The socket where the tooth is taken out has lost more than 50% of the bone on the cheek side
  • You are not pregnant
  • You do not smoke
  • You can maintain good oral hygiene
  • The tooth to be removed does not have a current active infection at the root
  • You have no medical conditions that prevent getting a dental implant
  • You do not have uncontrolled diabetes
  • Your immune system is not suppressed
  • You are not taking bisphosphonate medications
