Who can take part

  • You are currently staying in a hospital unit that provides continuing care and rehabilitation
  • You have a neurodegenerative disease (like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's) and your memory and thinking are still fairly good (a mini mental test score above 15)
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You need at least some help from another person when eating (for example, cutting food or guiding the spoon)
  • You can use your hands to eat (no amputation, paralysis, or other problem that prevents hand use)
