Who can take part
- You must have a type of stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that includes signet ring cells (a specific cell type seen under a microscope).
- Your cancer must be locally advanced (stage cT3-4a or lymph node positive) but still removable with surgery.
- You must not have received any prior treatment for this cancer, including surgery, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy.
- Your tumor must test negative for HER2 and have normal mismatch repair (pMMR).
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old and have good organ function (kidneys, liver, blood counts, heart).
- You must be willing to use effective contraception during and for a period after treatment.
