- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have stable chest pain or had a mild heart attack that is now under control
- You have one or two new blockages in separate heart arteries, each longer than 28 mm but no more than 38 mm
- You are able to take two blood-thinning medicines (like aspirin plus clopidogrel or similar)
- You have not had a stroke or mini-stroke in the last 6 months
- Your kidney function is good (creatinine level is not too high)
