Who can take part

  • Your baby must be born between 26 weeks, 0 days and 27 weeks, 6 days of pregnancy.
  • Your baby must weigh at least 650 grams at birth.
  • You or the legal guardian must sign a consent form.
  • Your baby cannot have serious eye problems, birth defects, severe infections, or heart disease.
  • Your baby cannot have had a significant brain bleed (grade 2, 3, or 4).
