Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be scheduled to have a tooth removed and the socket preserved for a future implant.
  • You must be able to tell the study team about any pain you feel.
  • You must not be pregnant (if you are a woman of childbearing age).
  • You cannot have untreated gum disease or an active tooth infection.
  • You cannot have taken antibiotics in the last 3 months.
