Who can take part

  • You need at least 2 teeth extracted due to gum disease, decay at the root, or root fracture
  • You must be a candidate for dental implants to replace the extracted teeth
  • The bone socket walls must be intact (not severely damaged) after tooth removal
  • You must be willing to attend all follow-up appointments and sign consent forms
  • No uncontrolled diabetes (blood sugar level HbA1c must be 7% or lower)
  • No smoking more than 10 cigarettes per day
