New pill for hepatitis B added to current treatment

This study tests a new pill called ZM-H1505R added to your current daily oral antiviral to see if it can better control hepatitis B virus. It's for people whose virus is still active despite standard treatment.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have been on a standard oral antiviral (like entecavir, tenofovir disoproxil, tenofovir alafenamide, or tenofovir maleate) for at least 1 year, and the same one for at least 6 months
  • Your hepatitis B virus DNA level is 50 IU/mL or higher (virus is still active despite treatment)
  • You have a positive HBeAg test (meaning the virus is actively reproducing)
  • You do not have advanced liver scarring or cirrhosis, and you do not have liver cancer or other serious liver diseases
  • You are willing to use effective birth control during the study and for 28 days after the last dose
