Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a wound that has been open for more than 6 weeks
- Your wound is between 2 and 4 inches in diameter (about 5 to 10 square cm)
- You have good blood flow to the wound area
- You are not taking medications that suppress your immune system or strong steroids
- You do not have cancer in or near your wound
