This study explores empathy and self-compassion in people with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers. If you have mild to moderate Parkinson's and a caregiver at home, you and your caregiver may join together to help researchers understand how to better support both of you.

Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease
- Your Parkinson's is mild to moderate (stage 3 or less on the Hoehn and Yahr scale)
- You do not have major depression, other neurological issues, or early dementia
- You have at least a secondary school education
- You have a family caregiver who helps you at home regularly (at least 3 days per week for at least 3 months)
