Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You must have been diagnosed with either hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) or intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), two types of liver cancer.
  • You must be scheduled to have surgery or conversion therapy (treatment to make surgery possible).
  • The liver tumor must be confirmed by a biopsy or after surgery.
  • The tumor must be located no deeper than 8 cm (about 3 inches) from the skin surface.
  • You must be able to hold your breath during imaging exams.
