Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for a procedure to remove kidney stones using a scope and laser.
  • You must be willing and able to come back for all follow-up visits after the procedure.
  • You must understand the study and sign a consent form.
  • You cannot have an untreated urinary tract infection at the time of the procedure.
  • You cannot have other serious health problems or certain structural issues in your urinary system.
  • You cannot be pregnant.
