Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled for a knee or hip replacement at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is less than 35.
- You do not have rheumatoid arthritis or other inflammatory joint diseases.
- You are not currently taking steroids, aspirin, or Cox inhibitors.
- You do not smoke or vape.
