This trial tests whether a wireless, wearable monitor can safely track your heart rate and other vital signs after complex spinal surgery, reducing the need for frequent nurse checks. If you are having extensive back surgery and stay in the hospital for at least 3 days, you may be eligible.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for complex spinal fusion surgery (at least 5 vertebrae, including the pelvis) for a degenerative condition
- Your hospital stay after surgery is expected to be more than 3 days
- You do not have a pacemaker
- You do not have an allergy to the monitor materials
- You are able to speak and understand Danish
