Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the stomach or where the stomach meets the esophagus, and not received any prior cancer treatment for this condition.
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You can provide a fresh or stored tumor sample (tissue block or slides) from within the past 6 months.
- Your overall health status (ECOG) is 0 or 1, meaning you're fully active or slightly limited but able to do light work.
- Your major organs (like liver, kidneys, bone marrow) must be working adequately as shown by recent blood tests.
- If you could become pregnant (or get someone pregnant), you must use contraception during the study and for 8 months after the last dose, and have a negative pregnancy test if female.
