Comparing two imaging tests for children with neuroblastoma

Who can take part

  • Your child has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma (a type of nerve cell cancer).
  • The cancer has returned or hasn't responded to previous treatments.
  • A recent scan (within the past 2 weeks to 2 days) showed the cancer absorbs a special dye called 123I-MIBG.
  • Your child is between 1 and 18 years old and weighs at least 9 kg (about 20 pounds).
  • Your child's health status (Lansky or Karnofsky score) is 60% or higher, meaning they can do most daily activities with some help.
