Who can take part
- You must be already enrolled in either the PNOC023 trial (for a type of brain cancer) or the ANBL1531 trial (for high-risk neuroblastoma, a nerve cancer).
- Your cancer must be confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy).
- Your bone marrow, kidneys, liver, and nervous system must be working well enough (checked by standard tests).
- You must have tumor tissue, blood, and/or spinal fluid samples available for the study.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.

This trial gives a radioactive drug (131I-MIBG) that targets and kills certain nerve tumor cells. It is for people whose neuroblastoma or related tumors have not responded to standard treatments or have come back.
This trial studies a radioactive medicine called iodine I-131 MIBG to shrink tumors that take up MIBG. It may help people whose neuroblastoma or malignant pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma has come back, progressed, or not responded to standard treatment.
