Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with urological cancer or breast cancer
  • Your cancer diagnosis was less than 6 weeks ago
  • Your treatment is expected to cure the cancer, or if it's palliative, you have a life expectancy of more than one year
  • You are able to speak and understand Dutch well
  • You do not have a serious psychiatric condition (like active suicidal thoughts, psychosis, or bipolar disorder) that would interfere with the study
  • You can commit to an 8-week mindfulness-based therapy program
