Who can take part
- You need a dental implant in the upper back jaw because you have very little bone there (less than 4 mm).
- You are between 20 and 65 years old and are in good general health.
- You do not have health conditions that slow bone healing, like uncontrolled diabetes or osteoporosis.
- You are not a heavy smoker (no more than 10 cigarettes a day).
- You do not have current sinus problems, have not had sinus surgery before, and are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are not taking medicines that affect bone, like bisphosphonates or steroids, and you have good oral hygiene (no untreated gum disease).
