- You are between 18 and 45 years old
- You have had a heart attack (including both types: STEMI and NSTEMI)
- You went to the hospital within 24 hours of your symptoms starting
- You are expected to live for more than one year
- You do not have a previous heart attack, severe heart valve disease, or heart failure
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
