Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have had a bleeding stroke in the brain that was NOT caused by a head injury.
- Your doctors have placed a drain (a thin tube) in your spine or brain to remove fluid after the bleed.
- You have not had meningitis (a serious brain infection) in the last 6 months.
- You do not have a weakened immune system or take medicines that affect your white blood cells.
