Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You had a CT scan showing a spontaneous brain bleed (more than 5 ml in size).
  • Your stroke symptoms started within the last 72 hours.
  • You have a Glasgow Coma Scale score between 5 and 15 (awake to somewhat sleepy).
  • You have a history of high blood pressure.
  • The bleed is not caused by an aneurysm, malformed blood vessels, tumor, or injury.
