New blood markers for predicting no-reflow after heart attack treatment

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had a type of heart attack called STEMI and are getting emergency artery-opening treatment (PCI).
  • You have not had a previous heart attack, previous artery-opening procedure (PCI), or bypass surgery (CABG).
  • You do not have a long-term inflammatory or autoimmune disease (like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus).
  • You do not have severe kidney or liver failure, active infection, or active cancer.
  • You agree to take part and sign a consent form.
