  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You come to the emergency room with a dislocated hip replacement
  • You have the hip gently put back in place (closed reduction) in the operating room with help from the anesthesia team
  • Your medical records must include key times like when you arrived, when you were referred to the operating room, when anesthesia started, and when you were discharged
