- You have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome by your doctor.
- Your ultrasound shows a specific measurement of the nerve (cross-sectional area greater than 10 mm²).
- You are scheduled to have carpal tunnel release surgery as part of your regular care.
- You do not have another condition causing your symptoms, such as arthritis, wrist injury, or growths.
