This study compares two treatments, radiofrequency (TECAR) and ultrasound, to see which one improves sensation, hand dexterity, and quality of life for people with moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. If you are between 35 and 50 and have had symptoms for at least a month, you may be able to join.

  • Had typical carpal tunnel symptoms for at least one month.
  • Diagnosed with moderate carpal tunnel syndrome confirmed by physical exam and nerve tests.
  • Pain level on a scale of 0 to 100 is between 35 and 64.
  • Body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 24.9.
  • No other medical conditions like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, or pregnancy, and no recent steroid injections or wrist surgeries.
