  • You have had chronic hepatitis B for at least 6 months
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have a positive test for hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) or HBV DNA
  • Your liver function and virus levels meet study limits
  • You have not had other serious liver diseases or infections
  • You are willing to use effective birth control during the study
