Who can take part
- You must be between 40 and 80 years old.
- You must have a COPD diagnosis confirmed by a breathing test (spirometry) within the last year.
- Your breathing test must show that your lung function is between 30% and 80% of normal for your age.
- Your COPD must have been stable (no flare-ups) for at least 4 weeks before screening.
- You must be able to stop using other COPD medications during the study (except for the rescue inhaler provided).
- You must be a current or former smoker with at least a 10 pack-year smoking history (like smoking 1 pack a day for 10 years), or have another significant risk factor.
