Who can take part

  • You must have classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) caused by 21-OHD.
  • You must be between 18 and 74 years old.
  • Your glucocorticoid dose must be stable (no major changes) for at least 2 months before joining.
  • Your morning blood test for a hormone called A4 must fall within certain ranges depending on your glucocorticoid dose.
  • You cannot have had both adrenal glands removed or have conditions that need long-term steroid treatment besides CAH.
