This trial studies a new blood test that looks at platelets (a part of your blood) to help find prostate cancer or keep track of it. You may join if you are a man over 40 with a suspicion of prostate cancer who has not been treated for it before.

Who can take part

  • You are a man aged 40 or older.
  • You have signs or a doctor's suspicion of prostate cancer (but no prior diagnosis).
  • You have not been treated for prostate cancer before.
  • You do not have a severe clotting disorder that cannot be reversed.
  • You have not taken aspirin, ibuprofen, clopidogrel, or similar blood-thinning medications in the past 7 days.
