Who can take part

  • You must be a male aged 18 or older.
  • You must have a PSA level above 4.0 ng/mL, confirmed by two tests at least 4 weeks apart (unless you have very high or rising PSA).
  • You may also qualify if you have abnormal prostate exam (DRE), suspicious MRI (PI-RADS 3 or higher), or a first-degree relative with prostate cancer.
  • You must not have had certain recent procedures like a prostate biopsy within 6 weeks, or a urinary catheter within 4 weeks.
  • You must not have another active cancer (except non-melanoma skin cancer) or serious kidney/liver problems.
  • You must not be taking blood thinners that you can't stop for at least 5 days.
