Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old and have documented HIV-1 infection.
  • You have been taking daily HIV medication (ART) for at least the past 6 months with no breaks longer than 2 weeks in a row.
  • Your HIV viral load has been low (under 200 copies/mL) for the past 6 months.
  • Your CD4 count (a measure of immune health) is 350 or higher.
  • You are willing to temporarily stop your HIV medications during the study (a planned treatment interruption).
  • You have not received long-acting injectable HIV medications in the last 2 years.
