Who can take part

  • You are between 6 and 18 years old.
  • You have an ankle or knee injury without a broken bone that happened within the last 4 days.
  • Your pain level was at least a 3 out of 10 when moving the injured area in the past 2 hours (or before taking pain medicine).
  • You are willing to complete follow-up surveys about your recovery.
  • You have no skin problems (like eczema or open wounds) where the gel would be applied and are not allergic to NSAIDs (like ibuprofen) or ingredients in the gel.
