Who can take part

  • You must have a fluid buildup in the chest caused by cancer (malignant pleural effusion).
  • The fluid should not be separated into pockets (multiloculated).
  • You must not have had pleurodesis before that did not work.
  • You should not have liver failure, kidney failure, or congestive heart failure.
  • You should not be using steroids or NSAIDs for a long time.
  • You must be willing to participate in the study.
