Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have a single herniated disc in the lower back (at L3-L4, L4-L5, or L5-S1) seen on an MRI.
- Your symptoms (like leg pain or numbness) have lasted at least 6 weeks without getting better with rest or other treatments.
- You have not had back surgery, a back injury, or a steroid injection in your spine before.
- You do not have severe spinal narrowing, advanced osteoporosis, a spine infection, cancer, or an autoimmune disease affecting the spine.
- You are not severely obese (BMI above 35).
