Can brain stimulation reduce chemo nerve pain in breast cancer?

This study tests a gentle brain stimulation treatment (called theta burst) to see if it can reduce nerve pain caused by breast cancer chemotherapy. If you have ongoing tingling or burning in your hands or feet, this treatment aims to calm those symptoms without using more medication.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have breast cancer and nerve pain (tingling, numbness, burning) from chemotherapy called taxanes (like Taxol)
  • Your nerve pain is at least moderate (score 3+ on a 0–10 pain scale)
  • You can understand and answer questions about your pain
  • Your cancer is not terminal (expected to live more than 6 months)
