Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a solid tumor that has spread to other parts of the body or cannot be removed by surgery.
  • Standard treatments no longer work for you, or you are unable to tolerate them.
  • You are reasonably active and able to care for yourself (ECOG status 0 or 1).
  • You have recovered from side effects of previous treatments, except for hair loss or stable nerve pain.
  • You have acceptable blood counts, liver, kidney, and thyroid function.
  • If you can become pregnant or father a child, you must agree to use effective birth control during and for 6 months after treatment.
