Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You received general anesthesia with a breathing tube placed in your airway.
  • You did not have low oxygen levels in your blood before surgery.
  • You did not have low blood pressure or very slow heart rate when you arrived in the recovery room.
  • Your surgery allows you to be repositioned or moved safely.
  • You do not have severe heart, blood vessel, lung, or brain conditions.
  • The breathing tube was placed successfully in 3 or fewer attempts.
