  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have a blockage in the stomach outlet (from a benign condition like an ulcer or a tumor)
  • Surgery or placing a tube (stent) in the intestine is not safe or possible for you
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You do not have conditions like cognitive problems, aphasia (trouble speaking), or mental disorders that would make it hard to cooperate
