If you have advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments, this scan may help your doctor better understand your cancer and possibly guide future care.

Who can take part
- You are a man aged 18 or older.
- You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to hormone therapy (castration-resistant).
- You have tried or cannot have standard treatments, and your cancer has gotten worse after at least one course of chemotherapy (taxane) or after treatment with newer hormone drugs like abiraterone or enzalutamide.
- You are willing to have a PET scan that uses a radioactive injection, and you can follow radiation safety instructions.
- Your overall health is good enough (ECOG score 0-2) and your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are within certain limits.
