Who can take part
- You have a new heart artery blockage that is at least 70% narrowed, or at least 50% narrowed with symptoms of reduced blood flow to the heart.
- The blockage is in a large artery (between about 2.75 and 4.0 mm wide) and is no longer than 25 mm.
- You can have up to two blockages treated, but they must be in different arteries.
- You are between 18 and 80 years old and have symptoms or evidence of reduced blood flow to the heart.
- You are willing to have follow-up visits and sign a consent form.
- You do not have other serious heart, kidney, liver, or bleeding conditions that would make the procedure unsafe.
