Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have chest pain or other signs that your heart isn't getting enough blood.
- The blocked artery is new (not one that was treated before with a stent) and is large enough (between 2.75 mm and 4.0 mm wide).
- The blockage is short (no more than 25 mm long) and can be opened up well before the procedure.
- You have not had a heart attack in the last month, and you do not have severe heart failure, kidney failure, or a bleeding disorder.
