Who can take part

  • Weigh at least 121 pounds (55 kg) and have a BMI between 19 and 40
  • No history of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) from not eating or from alcohol
  • If you have a healthy liver, you must be in good general health with normal blood pressure and pulse
  • If you have liver problems, your condition must have been diagnosed for more than 6 months and be stable
  • If you have type 2 diabetes, your A1c must be 11.5% or lower
