  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 27.0 and 39.9, which is considered overweight or obesity.
  • Your weight has been stable (within 5%) for the past 3 months.
  • You are not taking any weight loss or diabetes medications.
  • You do not have any serious digestive problems, arthritis, liver disease, or cancer.
