Who can take part

  • Your child's tooth pain is only brought on by eating, drinking, or touching (not constant).
  • The cavity is deep but only in the outer and middle layers of the tooth, not all the way to the root.
  • During the procedure, the dentist will check that the pulp (nerve) inside the root is healthy.
  • You must agree to a small metal cap (stainless steel crown) placed on the treated tooth afterward.
  • Your child can't have any major medical condition like heart disease or diabetes.
  • You need to be willing to come back for check-ups.
