Who can take part
- Your child must be between 1 and 18 years old.
- Your child must have been diagnosed with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) by a doctor, based on symptoms, an ultrasound of the heart, blood tests, or other heart tests.
- Your child cannot have a heart defect they were born with (congenital heart disease).
- Your child cannot have another type of heart muscle disease (cardiomyopathy) that is not caused by myocarditis.
