  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have had a tick bite less than 48 hours ago, or a tick is still attached to your skin.
  • The tick is available for analysis.
  • You do not have a current acute infection, like a cold or flu.
  • You do not have a weakened immune system or take immune-suppressing medications.
