Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You can join if you have a chronic spontaneous hives (CSU), a type I allergy (including severe allergic reactions or desensitization), atopic dermatitis (eczema), mastocytosis, X-linked agammaglobulinemia (XLA), or hereditary alpha-tryptasemia (HaT).
  • You can also join as a healthy volunteer, matched by age and gender to the allergic participants.
  • You must be willing and able to give informed consent.
  • For healthy volunteers: you may have allergy-related symptoms, but they should be mild (like to pollens, food, drugs, insect stings, or hives).
