Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have breast cancer in only one breast, and it hasn't spread to other parts of your body.
- You are having or have had a mastectomy (removal of the whole breast) and will also receive radiation therapy after surgery.
- You have not had breast cancer (including DCIS) before this diagnosis.
- You have never had radiation therapy to your chest area before.
- You have not had any other cancers (except for certain skin cancers, early cervical cancer, or a cancer that was successfully treated more than 5 years ago).
