New PTSD therapy for children ages 6-14

Who can take part

  • Child must be between 6 and 14 years old.
  • Child must have significant PTSD symptoms, as measured by a parent questionnaire.
  • Parent or caregiver must be able to attend a parent session and 6 child therapy sessions.
  • Child must be able to understand and follow instructions during sessions (with help if needed).
  • Child must not be in another trauma-focused therapy during the study.
  • No serious medical or mental health condition that would make participation unsafe.
