Who can take part
- Child is between 7 and 12 years old
- A parent or legal guardian will also take part in the program
- The child had a traumatic event at least 4 weeks ago and was over 3 years old when it happened
- The child has at least 5 signs of PTSD, like upsetting memories or avoiding reminders
- No active suicidal plans, and if the child has suicidal thoughts, safety planning is in place
- No active psychosis, severe substance use, or unsupervised contact with the person who harmed them
- If on medication, doses must be stable for at least 4 weeks (or 2 weeks for certain meds)
